Behaviour Principles

Our behaviour principles are contained in our Behaviour Policy that can be found on our Policies Page

School Policies related to Behaviour.

We have a number of key school policies that also relate to behaviour: Safeguarding, Inclusion & Anti-Bullying.

They can all be found on our Policies Page

Praise and Reward

At Wyvern we celebrate students who live our PRIDE values every lesson and show RESPECT around the site.

P1 (1 pt)     awarded for meeting expectations, e.g. awarded every lesson for meeting PRIDE expectations.
P2 (2 pts)    for exceeding expectations; triggers a Praise Postcard home.
P3 (5 pts)    for exceptional achievement; triggers a Headteacher letter.

Tutors and Pastoral Leaders monitor totals in Edulink; milestones (50, 100, 150 pts …) lead to reward trips and celebration events. Parents can see live totals in the Edulink App.

Having PRIDE. Showing RESPECT

We want high standards of behaviour from all our students.

Our expectations are centre around our PRIDE and RESPECT codes. Click on the images below to find out more.

Care through leadership
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
