Leopards Pre-School 

Our Pre-School runs term time only and can accommodate children from 2 to 5 years and is open Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, we offer three different daily sessions:

• Day session 9am-3pm

• Morning session 9am-12pm

• Afternoon session 12pm-3pm

A snack and drink of milk will be on offer during the morning session, and the option to pay for a hot meal to be provided at lunchtime is available.

We offer you and your child the opportunity to come for some settling in sessions ahead of starting with us. This also allows you to meet and get to know your child’s keyworker, and for them to get to know your child a little more before their first day with us.

We also accept term-time only funding for Pre-School (38 weeks).

Our day nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7.45am-6pm 51 weeks of the year (closing for the week between Christmas and New Year) the sessions we offer are:

• Full day 7.45am-6pm

• Half day am session 7.45am-12.45pm

• Half day pm session 1pm-6pm

We can accommodate children from 3 months to 5 years within our three rooms:

• Cubs room from 3 months to 2 years

• Tigers room from 2 years to 3 years

• Lions room from 3 years to 5 years

We offer settling in visits to ease your child into the nursery setting at which you will get to meet your child’s dedicated keyworker enabling us to get to know your child a little more before they start with us, helping the transition into nursery easier for both your child and yourselves.

Each room runs on a similar daily routine helping your child’s transition from one room to the next smoothly.

Each room has breakfast available up until 8.30am, during the course of the day a morning and afternoon snack will be offered to your child as well as a hot meal and pudding being provided at lunchtime and then a high tea late afternoon.

After School Club runs from 3.25pm – 6pm for Year R children who attend Fair Oak Infant School.

We have spaces available.

The club is held in the Pre School/Leopards Room at Wyvern Childcare.

Activities in club focus on providing the opportunity of participating in a variety of activities to suit the age range of children attending. Activities include board games, arts & crafts, construction, role-play and outdoor games.

A small snack is provided each day.

Children who attend the After School Club provision are collected direct from the Infant School.
